Prabowo Subianto: Having a Thousand Friends is Still Very Too Little

Prabowo Subianto. According to the Vice President with serial number 02 Prabowo Subianto, many philosophies or teachings of Chinese society greatly influenced his leadership style. "One of the lessons that I hold fast is one very important sentence. A thousand friends are too few, one enemy is too much, "Prabowo explained.

Prabowo respects the history of Chinese society, which is valid for thousands of years. Chinese culture also provides a lot of knowledge in Prabowo's life. For Prabowo, every country must have a habit or philosophy of good life, which can be used as an example for life.

"I'm sorry I just met this (Chinese philosophy) after I retired (from the military). If I meet this when I'm a major, maybe I've been a president for a long time, "joked Prabowo. The joke was able to blind the businessmen who burst out laughing.

Nevertheless, the General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party was reluctant to be considered a stooge or anti against China.

Even so, the candidate number 02 said that he did not want to be considered as a person who favored the Chinese.

"If I respect China, it doesn't mean that I'm an accomplice to China," Prabowo stressed.

The main target of the dinner and hospitality program was for the Chinese community members, especially the business community to understand the vision and mission brought by Prabowo.

Director of Media and Information of the National Winning Body (BPN) Hashim Djojohadikusumo, DPR member Gerindra Aryo Djojohadikusumo, Gerindra party politician, Ahmad Dhani and Gerindra Party Deputy Chair Sugiono also appeared at the friendly event.
